Maastricht Graduate School of Governance

The Maas­tricht Grad­u­ate School of Gov­er­nance (MGSoG) of Maas­tricht Uni­ver­si­ty is inte­grat­ed with­in the Unit­ed Nations Uni­ver­si­ty – Maas­tricht Eco­nom­ic and Social Research Insti­tute on Inno­va­tion and Tech­nol­o­gy (UNU-MERIT). With­in UNU-MERIT, the Maas­tricht Grad­u­ate School of Gov­er­nance cov­ers all aspects of gov­er­nance in domes­tic and glob­al organ­i­sa­tions, from risk assess­ment to pol­i­cy analy­sis, design and eval­u­a­tion. More specif­i­cal­ly, the School pre­pares pro­fes­sion­als and researchers for pol­i­cy analy­sis, risk assess­ment, pol­i­cy design, pol­i­cy mon­i­tor­ing, pol­i­cy eval­u­a­tion and meth­ods and tech­niques of pol­i­cy research. MGSoG is the cen­tre for the institute’s dou­ble degree Mas­ter of Sci­ence in Pub­lic Pol­i­cy and Human Devel­op­ment, which aims to train pub­lic pol­i­cy pro­fes­sion­als for the glob­al com­mu­ni­ty.

eva­p­lan GmbH at the Uni­ver­si­ty Hos­pi­tal Hei­del­berg is a con­sul­tan­cy com­pa­ny that under­takes advi­so­ry mis­sions and engages in oper­a­tional research, project imple­men­ta­tion and train­ing in the field of inter­na­tion­al health and social pro­tec­tion. eva­p­lan emerged from the Insti­tute of Pub­lic Health at the Uni­ver­si­ty Hos­pi­tal Hei­del­berg and col­lab­o­rates close­ly with oth­er insti­tutes and depart­ments of the uni­ver­si­ty. It incor­po­rates more than 20 years of pro­fes­sion­al work­ing expe­ri­ence from around the world. evaplan’s port­fo­lio is large­ly based upon bi- and mul­ti­lat­er­al devel­op­ment coop­er­a­tion, but also includes assign­ments with­in the EU mem­ber states in the area of pub­lic health. eva­p­lan has a broad range of part­ners such as uni­ver­si­ties, non-gov­ern­men­tal organ­i­sa­tions and oth­er con­sult­ing firms, span­ning both the north­ern and south­ern hemi­spheres. Fur­ther­more, it is able to draw upon the large inter­na­tion­al net­work of aca­d­e­mics, pol­i­cy mak­ers and alum­ni that asso­ciate with the Insti­tute of Pub­lic Health at the Uni­ver­si­ty Hos­pi­tal Hei­del­berg.

AOK International Consulting

AOK Inter­na­tion­al Con­sult­ing by Kom­Part pro­vides con­sul­tan­cy ser­vice to polit­i­cal deci­sion-mak­ers, health insur­ance funds and health insur­ance projects abroad. There­by we coop­er­ate with sev­er­al part­ner orga­ni­za­tions. We offer the place­ment of health care sys­tem experts in inter­na­tion­al projects and the orga­ni­za­tion of study tours and train­ings for del­e­ga­tions from abroad. On this we draw on the knowl­edge of the AOK, the largest Ger­man social health insur­ance fund with approx­i­mate­ly 24 mil­lion insured indi­vid­u­als and over 60,000 employ­ees in rough­ly 1,400 branch offices.
