About this Master Program

The planned international Master’s degree Program ‘Social Protection’ is the first joint academic program between a European and Asian universities in the area of social protection with complementary curricula. The program targets qualified young employees and future specialist staff and leaders who work in the area of social security, in private companies and in public administration, especially in ministries of social services and health.
The principal approach of this Master’s degree program is the combination and the promotion of theory, leadership and expertise in all areas of social protection. This course contributes to a better understanding and to a management of transformation processes due to globalization as well as of the corresponding reforms in social protection systems. The course offers the opportunity of knowledge transfer through internships in relevant fields in Europe and Asia and also through operational research as part of the Msc Thesis.
